Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation (ERAF) is pleased to announce their participation in a recently launched campaign by the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) calling on the public to open their hearts (and barns) to horses in need. In honor of national Help a Horse Day on April 26, ERAF alongside The Right Horse Initiative, a program of the ASPCA, is encouraging individuals to foster, sponsor or adopt one of the equines in our care.
As a result of the COVID-19 public health crisis, organizations face new challenges as they continue to care for homeless equines. Additionally, financial uncertainty and challenges related to the crisis means many horse owners may be forced to rehome their animals, making both foster and adoptive homes more critical than ever.
If you are interested in our Foster Program, please fill out the contact form below to inquire which horses are available to Foster.
The ERAF Foster application is available for you to download here.
